Do it yourself jewelry making tutorial - This is one way that you can make a pair of cute feather earrings. It should take you no more than 15-20 minutes to make a pair, and, depending on the quality/type of supplies used, can cost as little as a dollar or less for the supplies used (not including tools needed). To skip the talking and go straight to the tutorial: 1:40 Tools I used: • Round nose pliers • Wire cutting pliers (if you don't already have them built into another jewelry making tool) • Crimping pliers • Chain-nose pliers (if you have them) Supplies: • Feathers of your choice -- they should be at least three inches long. If they're longer you can always trim them down to size. • Beading wire o I'm using a 22 gauge silver plated copper wire, and for this project I'd stick to that or maybe 24 gauge wire. • Crimp covers • Fishhook style earwires (or earring components of your choice)
